Bora Bora Tahiti French Polynesia  is one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world.   It  is  a part of  a chain of numerous islands  in the South Pacific Ocean.  Bora Bora is probably the most well known of all these islands because of its natural beauty, the multi-colored waters surrounding it and the romantic over water bungalows. It is surrounded by a coral reef that creates waters that have virtually no current.  This makes an ideal condition for the tropical fish that love to swim in the waters of Bora Bora and makes snorkeling a breeze for tourists.  The turquoise and aqua blue waters surrounding the island are simply amazing.

My wife and I spent five glorious days in an over water bungalow in one of the resorts in Bora Bora celebrating one of our milestone birthdays.  Returning after a  cruise to all the “Society Islands” of which Bora Bora is the most famous, we relaxed on the white sand beach, snorkeled to our hearts content and relished  the natural, unspoiled beauty that is Bora Bora.  It was (and still remains) one of the most memorable and definitely most romantic vacations we have ever taken.  It is no wonder that honeymooners and young and older romantics alike choose Bora Bora for an unforgettable vacation.

This aerial view of Bora Bora Tahiti French Polynesia  was taken from our plane and gives a wonderful view of the island, its mountain top and the surrounding waters.  You can see how largely undeveloped the island is from this view.
